August 19th - Mosteller Update...
Work at the Mosteller Ranch is coming along well. The loops for the three day Labor Day weekend are planned and all but a few sections have yet to be cleared. Like last year, plans are for 12 sections Saturday, 11 Sunday and 10 on AHRMA-only Monday. AHRMA riders can look forward to fun sections with lines laid out in the spirit of the period.
Checkers will be needed for Monday's 10 AHRMA sections, if all goes as planned we should be done with the trial and awards around 1:00pm. A sign-up sheet will be available at the sign-up table(s).

August 16th - Limestone Meet...till we meet again
On Saturday morning the South-Eastern end of the Wind River mountains
were wet from overnight rain and socked-in with a ceiling below the 8800 foot
high venue for thw WMTA's August trial. The temperature read 38 degrees
outside the truck as we turned off Limestone Road into the trials site.
All that quickly burned off and left us with a dry weekend of perfect
temperatures for trials'n. Dirk and Rob had 10 great sections ready for our
10:00am start as the upper classes broke them all in for us. The length of
the loop and technical sections had those riders struggling to stay within
the 3.5 hour time limit. No one ran out if time but the limit was relaxed
to 4 hours for the support classes in the afternoon to keep things safe.
Saturday evening Dirk, Roger (and whoever else was involved) followed through
with their plan for a pig roast and with everyone providing something for the
pot-luck, no one went hungry.
Sunday, Clay and Mark had laid out a little shorter loop and 10 more great
sections to test our mettle. We had 44 riders including 7 Junior riders.
Some travelled from Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Utah to ride this incredible
venue the Forest Service allows us to ride.
Side Note: Chris found a 4-way lug wrench and a screw jack handle while walking the camp area. Let us know if they're yours. Will be available at the Mosteller Cup.
Results and some photos to follow....if I ever get time...
